BlackBery popularity of diminishing in the estimate to be fresh air for Windows Phone 8, at least in the United States. According to research by StatCounter, Microsoft’s Windows Phone predicted to surpass BlackBerry market share in the U.S. in November.
This projection is based on the adoption of both platforms today. BlackBerry market share in the land of Uncle Sam dropped to 3% since the beginning of the year 2012, from that previously were 6%.
Meanwhile, Windows Phone 8 is slowly increasing market share in the range of 1.5%. If this trend continues, Windows Phone will surpass BlackBerry and become the third largest player, although very far behind the iPhone and Android.
Popularity of Windows Phone is expected to increase with the presence of Windows Phone 8 handsets. Nokia reportedly will introduce Windows 8 handsets in early September.
Meanwhile, BlackBerry is still relying on the old model. RIM already mentioned that phone with BlackBerry OS 10 still not be released until 2013. Impatiently waiting for Windows Phone 8 .
